If your Lowrance GPS goes down to a small scale for the map it will be more interesting. If it doesn't you need a Garmin.

It's all part of the fun to keep records, but after a while you just wanna dig......................

Your GPS will give you the coordinates. Convert these to numeric values and enter into Google Earth. Now that's cool.

You'll have to search around on the web to find a program to convert the GPS coordinates to numerical values. Give it a shot with your house. You'll be amazed at what you can see.

Google Earth is pretty cool although the satelite images can be a few years old. My house has a car in the driveway that I have not owned in quite a few years.

I still have to buy myself a GPS....forgot all about that one when the wife was asking what I wanted for Father's Day. The grill light could have waited...LOL.

You might want to try Geocache hunting. It's fun if you travel around a good bit.

Are you just WAAS enabled or is there correction where you are?

I have studyed Geocaching
and found some site close by where I live at,
treasure hunting and geocaching goes hand and hand.
well it's W.A.A.S enabled it has every thing and has dual processors
it's more faster than the GO 2.
at least you guys can see maps where I been with the photos
talk about going into detail.

Just because you are WASS enabled doesn't mean you have and are using it. It is good to know if your area has it. Especially for GeoCaching.
