A bit over $3 in change (including our obligatory ate-up zincolns and red dimes), one city utility tag, one other unidentified tag, a 1972 Matchbox "Toe Joe," and my fifth ring of the year. That's four rings in four hunts for the Deus.

Unfortunately, this ring appears to be brass. Based on the markings on its interior, we think that it's a size 8 fitting ring. What is a fitting ring doing next to the walkway leading into an old playfield? Your guess is as good as mine. One of the things that I enjoy most about metal detecting is figuring out how in the hell some of these finds wound up where I discovered them.

Congrats! Nice finds!
Truth is stranger than fiction, when it comes to how things got where we find them!
Those corroded zincs read all sorts of wired readings!
