Working permissions at every opportunity in an attempt to beat the ground freeze. Worked the front of a double house the day before and after Thanksgiving getting very little.........

Not much there...... a 1910 and 1926 wheat (and yes, I did ding the '26 with my Lesche :BangHead:). The ring is an Avon costume piece (#50).
Today I began the back of the property......only had an hour..........

But, it was much more productive than the front of the house!!

The '45P is the 6th War nickle this year, but the Walker is a 1st for me!! It's 1924 and had me talking to myself even more than usual......."NO WAY!! NO WAY!!". Gotta say, that one had me very excited when she popped out!!
Not shown (yep, still excited and forgot!) are '20 and '37 Wheats................
Not too sure about the tag.......except the error........the accepted abbreviation for Williamsport is "WMSPT".........some one was a bit embarrassed in 1972!!

Thanks for lookin' in and good luck to all you seekers of treasure!!

Very nice! Tell you what - put that war nick in some lemon juice overnight and that will be a stunner!

Congrats on that SLQ. The best looking coin of the 20th Century IMHO.

SLQ's are awesome to find especially in that condition! There's probably more silver in there so get back at it!

Sweet Standing Liberty Quarter. They are very hard to find with a date. Especially pre-1925.
Congrats on a good hunt.

Way to go neighbor. The tag looks like a pool tag to one of the local pools. My parents always got one for us every summer. Mom's way of getting us out of her hair. Lol

yes, we had those tags for swimming pools. you should sew them to your trunks. they were metal. nice finds!

Your post confused me! Couldn't find a walker in the pictures. Now a SLQ is a great find. Better than a walker I think. Rarer. Nice finds.

Sweet finds Chuck! Congrats on the Silver! :occasion14:

Thank you, atw. The SLQ has very nice details and a clear date........sorry the pics don't show much.

Thanks, neighbor!! The wife and I thought it might be a pool tag.........I never had one, so I wasn't sure.

You weren't the only one confused!! I was so overwhelmed with that SLQ, I couldn't remember the difference!! Makes me one poor coin collector :laughing7:.........ah well, it's still one off the bucket list and in the history books!! Thanks...............

Great hunt you had!....congrats on the SLQ!
