I agree, keep going to that spot until you clean it out, if you dont someone else will. Also keep shopping around for a better price for the ring. All the best.

That's the plan, going back today. Wasn't looking to sell, was trying to figure out the fairness of the dealer's offers. The ring's melt value is about 100, 50, 60. to much of a discount. I didn't take any of his offers based on that.

Yesterday I went back to the river and was not finding much 6 Wheats, musket ball, rivet? or button, kids ring, and 2 Whatchamacallits. Then a stray cat came along, so I called it a day, and took him home. Called the number on the collar and returned the cat last night.

Today I was across the river at Daley Field, it's the next park getting an upgrade. Talked with the construction guys putting up the fence to get info on when the topsoil gets stripped. Decided to swing the detector around 5.17 in Clad nothing else. Left there and back across to the other side that has been so good to me. 1944 Merc, 1948 Rosie, 2 wheats, broken belt buckle, and trash ring or spacer ?
