Water hunting coil choice for ATPro

I have both the stock coil and the smaller coil for my ATpro. On land I pretty much use the small coil exclusively as it is easier to pick through trashy areas. When water detecting would I be better off using the stock coil to get more coverage? Or would the smaller coil be better due to it not having as much drag? The swim areas I hunt are not near as trash filled as my land spots

I ask because I see a lot of water and beach videos where people are using really large coils. Should I add one of the large Nel coils to the arsenal for water hunting?

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Use the largest coil you own. Targets in the water tend to sink much faster then on land. You want DEPTH. Water hunters tend to dig it all, and a large coil will cover a given area much faster then a smaller coil.
