And two real rings

We all had a nice day today-------------------skipped the ocean and sailed over to the bay today to scout around

Scouting was pretty good----------------as u will see we all found much junk, some found rings as well

The waves were smaller, only a few meager bikinis, lot of hunters

Found old nickel, much lead, earring, brass this and that……….man oh man

Found a nice little 925 ring and what I thought was a gold ring at first sight, but it appears to be plated----------------------tony found a plated ring today as well-----------------PI Tim found and nice ring with some kind of stone, appeared to be silver.

My take from the Bay.

The ring has some strange writing on the inside, "silver filled gay", any guesses? My scoop's(homemade) handle broke during my hunt today, luckily I was able to use it enough to snag the ring. It was pretty deep. I had to call my hunt a little short, but that's the way it goes sometimes. The gillnet license is from 1979. Max said we might have some good low tides comin' this week, so I had to go straight to the "shop" after the hunt and figure out a new handle for my scoop. It's plain old steel, so it is Heavier now, but it'll work until I can come up with something different, I don't think this handle will bend so easy.

My other hunting partners went to the Oceanfront and pulled out a lot of freshly dropped CLAD and they said people were everywhere down there today=loot.

u can try that new handle, looks good and sturdy, but i think u will find that "T" at the end will have to go or make it maybe 2" on each side

i think it will get in your way as long as it is
