Weekend trips to "Seated Park"

Beautiful weekend here in Mass., so I headed over to my favorite park Saturday & Sunday to see what I could muster. Total take for the weekend was a very worn 1875-CC Seated dime- I didn't put the pic up because it's very worn and nearly a slick- 4 Indians dated 1886, 1891, 1896 & 1903- still soaking in olive oil and these two Barber dimes, 1899 & 1905-O. These make my total over 450 "keepers" for this park- hope the well never runs dry!

HH All,

I would probably never give up on that site either, that 05 "0" looks to have some value, good job!

Hey Jeff. Great finds. No pics of the IH's? Amonia works well on cleaning them.

How long have you been detecting this park? Sounds like a while. My son and I were out detecting some of the parks around here and ran into someone just yesterday who told us what he found in one of the parks that we were detecting. Just shook my head. Every park in this area I live has been hammered. It's no wonder you never see anyone at these parks with detectors anymore. Anyway, I should have started this hobby years ago...
