March 16th- $150 dimes, N.F. String rolls : 1, 1943 D merc!

It was so old and dirty that I almost passed up picking this rim from the bunch :)

Nice! that looks like plain old dirt - i bet a little water and soap and that looks good as new!

I decided to try the hot water + baking soda+ tin foil method... cleaned her up real nice!

It's a chemical reaction, I tried it for the first time a couple days ago on a few dirty silver coins and its worked wonders.
