Went back out, my best find ever (I'm a newbie) pic added

So after a slow morning at the beach, I decided to hit a tot lot that has rubber tires for dirt. Since the ground is still frozen, the tires are excellent for searching in. I found 35 cents in clad, a metal nugget of some sort. Not sure what metal it is since it turned a little green. But the best find I have managed to come across is a 1 mill "utah sales tax relief token" . I don't have a pic right now, but I'll add one as soon as i can. I looked online and it looks like it would have been made around 1937 thru 1942. Pretty cool. The tot lot finds definately made up for the poor showing this morning.

here is the pic:

Those tokens are fun to find. I found some Missouri tax tokens last week.

Very awsome find. I found 5 tokens last year. Just remember here we don't care if it's your first day and all you found was a washer or a pro and found the lost dutchman mine. We want to hear and read all about it.
So keep us informed no matter what.

If it is the aluminum type it was made in 1936, then they changed to plastic. Quit making them in plastic because kids were eating them & choking on them. I once found a spot where I pulled about 1 hundred of them up in 1 & 5 mill got tired of picking them up & left. I would guess that there are still many more there.

yeah, right. some suggested that maybe the chopped tires that are on the ground in this park came from Utah and the token found it's way in there at the factory. not sure, but it seems feasible.
