Man, I can think of many worse ways to earn $25 an hour!

I wish Americans would make and use high denomination coins...

yeah it kinda sucks that you guys mostly find quarters and dimes, while here the €1 and the €2 coins are very wide spread.. I dont want to sound patriotic, but imo, Europe is better for MD on average, since we have longer history, even here in Belgium (not the best place for MD) you can easily find celtic, roman etc coins/relics
I dont mean any disrespect, its just my opinion
peace.

Great finds there Acquisitor! :notworthy: At least you're hunting in January!
Here in Canada we're blessed with $1 & $2 coins and there's talk we
may adopt a $5 coin in the next few years!

Cheers,
Dave

Cheers, :hello:

No disrespect taken, Acquisitor.......the sad part is that you are all too correct! You probably don't have all the trashy people leaving pull tabs and other metal trash everywhere like we do, either. Unlike some parts of the country, at least, I get to hunt pretty much year around.

unfortunately we do, but not everywhere. We have some freshly imported cultures living here which dont respect our country or its laws. Leaving trash is a serious offense here, with all kinds of garbage bins anywhere u go its quite easy not to litter, yet, some people do that.

luckily in the city park where I hunt a few times a week now, there is little trash, in some areas even none. In some areas 70-75% of the signals indicate a coin :)
