Went to an early 1800's camp today and found.....

Square Nails, lots of square nails. I ended up coming home and hitting a new yard and did manage a 1940 wheat. The place where the camp was at looks promising, but.......(sigh).......it's gonna be A LOT of work. Most of the area is bramble and scrub oak(WI style), but the property owner said he may come out and hack a bunch of it for me. On the good side, one of the nails was a hand-forged horseshoe nail. So....hopefully I'll get back there soon, I'll keep ya posted.

Nothing wrong with those old hand forged nails :-\. Dates things for you any how. Paint them and hang your real treasures with them, that's what the nail queen is doing!
