My family went to checkout a 1880 ghost town ,here in Colorado, we had a great time. But since the group tagged along it limited my digging time.the only thing left were the foundations,a store, houses, the mine bosses
house & several mines...coal i think ,gotta do more reasearch.found what i think is a rosette or buckle
its a floral design & plated gold, a flat type button & a harmonica reed.plan on a return trip just to dig.

first the finds & the pics

enjoy, i did
Randall

Real nice photos, I wouldn't think that was a coal mine. But I've been known to be wrong before. Nice rosette!

Please DO NOT ENTER Mines that are abandon. They may have some great treasure in them but they do collapse. One wrong touch or movement of rock can cause the whole place to collapse on you. If your digging in the walls and floor looking for something. It could very easily cave in on you, please don't do this.... Be safe!

Keep @ it and HH!!
