What a way to start my day

It's my birthday, and I have to work all day and then go to school all evening, so I figured I'd get up early and go TH a park down the street from me so I could have a good start on the day. I took my first detector I got as an early birthday present two weeks ago, and wasn't there 10 minutes when I found a gold ring! I'm definately hooked, now. I can cross "find a gold ring" off the list of things to do. Now I just need to find some coins that are older than 1980.....

(I'll try to post pics of the stuff we found soon. Couch ate me about 8pm and I just woke up. Wonder if I'll be able to get back to sleep.)

I found it over toward the tot lot. Near where we found the clad, but almost to the trees.
