So I'm out by our barn a few weeks ago and came across this small cool looking chert point. Too bad it was missing the tip. A couple of weeks later, I was looking around the same area and, dat's right, found the tip. LOL Pic 1.JPG Pic 2.JPG
A friend of mine told me I'm probably the one who stepped on it and broke it to begin with. Probably...

Since I am the king of the broken point, it looks like I've got a lifetime of area to re-search. lol

It's happened to me a few times, and, if anything, it's more exciting then finding them intact in the first place. First time for me I found the tip 10 years to the week after finding the base, in the same row of the cornfield. Because of a diamond shape cross section, I knew immediately what I had found.
