In other words, what would be your dream coin to dig out of the ground? I would love to pull out a Dahlonega $3 coin. What do ya'all think?

Oct. 16...WOW! What a response! Looks like silver is more wanted than gold! Especially the SLQ's! You guys are great....and funny! Just love the posts!

Oct. 18...Now it could go either way! Silver or gold....and the Piece of Eight...WOW!!!! Now check out my other post!

Bust coins ! ! !
That is what turns my crank.
But I hear a lot of guys and gals wishing for that illusive SLQ.

Mostly keep your eyes open a catch them as they come along,
Have fun and good hunting.

I would like to find at least one gold coin. ( preferably, the one with the Indian Head on it ) and also at lest one silver dollar, (any kind )... Of-course, they're probably just like potato chips, and I'll want another one right after the first.... ;D

For me, I would love to find a small cache of Walking Liberty Halves. I think they are a beautiful coin.

I don't get much opportunity to get out and detect these days. So when I CAN dig I'm happy with pretty much any coin that is older than me. :)

I think that if I'm going to be realistic, I would love a colonial copper. If I'm fantasizing, a Roman coin would be awesome!

Been detecting for 10 years and I have yet to find a " SEATED COIN".
Hunted places were a " SEATED COIN" would be but yet I have not dug one.
Found lots of silver Barbers but no "SEATED COIN" yet.
Went hunting with Skinny Puppy and WaterColor , Skinny Puppy was given a 1877 "SEATED DIME" by a Mississippi
trucker. The rest of us got silver too, but no "SEATED COIN"....
I see so many "Seated Coins" found, but not me, I can't find one yet.

So to answer the question... would be ....
A "SEATED COIN"......if you haven't guessed that already....

If that truck driver gave you that Seated dime, you would have nothing to look forward to :D :D (still ROTFL about that)
