what kinda metal is this?

this is the wire in the computer. when i went to strip it i notices that it was not copper. what kind of metal could it be?

depending on the quality of the computer it could be silver < has to be a very high end computer> Most likely its alum. I just throw it all in with my insulated wire and get the copper price for alum. wire
