Might wont to look into hardaway Palmer and Taylor variety. Here is one a friend found in NC piedmont.

Thanks for all the help. I didn't mention that it's 1" long. I found a chart with a Palmer that is real close. I could not find a good picture of a Vann Lott to compare it. There was a Clovis dug from a fram pond less that a mile from where I found this point. I was at a local Tractor show when I spotted this one. I covered it up and let my grandson have the honnor of being the first one to touch it the next day. Tony
