Hubby and I spent 2 days hunting and hit one of our favorite beaches. This beach had been horribly ravaged by a storm in March, federal funds were obtained to level the beach and fix what was destroyed. The storm took away about 4 feet in depth of sand. This past week we had another wind storm, only this time the sand is being pushed back in, about 2 feet in depth in some areas. It is what we call "sanded in". You can see by what appears to be a cut but actually is piled up sand. We hit many targets in 2 days on various beaches, no gold, but a nice silver cross that needs cleaning.
