What period is this

It seems to be smaller than a twin and on the inside of the bed a round thing like a hook would go in to. I would have taken a pic of the headboard but it looks just the same as this piece, they are mirror images of each other. The side boards are spindled just like the rest. What would the date be or value. I found it on the 2nd floor of a barn undernieth lumber. The barn and house is dated 1890. Enclosed is also a pic of the barn and house.

That style was often called Jenny Lind , who was a popular singer in the 1850's and traveling throughout the world.
