What will a titanium ring register (VDI) on a detector?

Guess not too many people have access to titanium rings? I have titanium bolts and screws holding my back together but my detector don't have a VDI meter. Otherwise I would run it over my back and tell you! I hate air travel because my back sets off the handheld metal detectors! ::) JIM

LOL Jim! I had the same surgery. Do you have your card that lets you pass go and collect the $200? The doctoer gave me mine a little while after the surgery. It comes in handy when explaining why you're naked and still setting off the detector!!

I just scanned my wedding band on the surface. My wife would kill me if I buried it. On my DFX I get a VDI of +08 every time. Hope this helps you out........Happy Hunting Chris
