Re: What's For Dinner?

Just got back from the grocery store. Seems like things are getting even more expensive!

I slowly cruise the meat section. Tenderloins, steaks, roasts. Then I slowly cruise the cheese section. Cheddars, Bries, Havartis, Swiss. It's nice to see the kind of things rich people can afford.

Then I go to the rest of the aisles, where I buy store brands,
almost expired goods and "Manager's Specials."
Otherwise known as dented cans or cans without labels.
Who needs the lottery? It's a crapshoot when you buy no label cans...could be a can of salmon or a can of dog food....

Guess I did ok on keeping the total bill down.
I just hope I don't have to eat dog food tonight! :P

Best Wishes,
Scott

Hey, there's more quality control over the dog food than there is over people food!

WOW! What an experience! Been years since I've been to a game. Last one was the KC Royals. Must have been at least 10 years ago or more....... Best thing about that trip was the "snacks." Of course the Royals lost. But it was about the trip and the snacks!

Best,
Scott
