What's right for me?

Hey All, Wicka here :hello:
I'm always in the coin roll hunting section of this forum, but always check to see what people are finding Metal Detecting,
So I was looking to get into the great hobby of Metal Detecting!
I want to find all types of stuff in the ground. Plan on searching a local (freshwater) beach, sand only not going to venture into the water I don't think. I will also be searching sports fields. Just going to casually search, and all efforts will be funded by crh finds probably. Just looking to see what is best for my wants/needs :P I was thinking a Garret 250? Not sure! Please provide feedback!
Thank you in advance! :hello:
Wicka

Not a Garrett user myself but you get a lot for the money in an Ace 250. Nice detector for someone starting out such as yourself.

The Ace 250 is a good detector to start with as are the entry ones from Fisher and Tesoro.
