- White's DFX 300 Sunray DX-1 probe/ XLT Sunray XL-1 probe
I was field testing my new sunray XL-1 probe for my XLT this weekend. This thing is great and I don't know how I ever did without it. Makes recovery so much faster for both shallow and deep targets.
I got a signal that was jumping around between two roots at the base of a tree. The sunray got me right to it but I soon found out it was half buried in one of the roots.
I could see it was a penny so I stuck the shovel under it and pryed. It would not budge. I then took the shovel and bashed the root until the coin dropped free.
1958 wheat last year they were minted lol
Not much found but was glad to see the probe really works well
