Wheat War # 69 Dad vs Tanner with pics

This was a heated battle with the lead changing a few times during the sorting period. Tanner was the winner with 15 Wheats (oldest 1936) and a nice red young Queen 1964 which is an upgrade. Dad did have a double digit score of 10 Wheats (oldest 1917) this was the second battle in a row that a 1917 was found.

hey dad hate to say this but it looks like you only found 11 wheats unless i am miscounting. where you have the ones that say 10 wheats i only count 9. and with the other 2 it makes 11.

nope, all 12 coins are there, look closer at the 2nd wheat from the right, there's one on top of another(see the rims)

Its always fun finding old wheats in rolls. My oldest was the first year issue 1909 plain

now i do i did not see it yesterday. as this is 1 of the first sites i visit right after i get up so i am usually still tired and since those 2 wheats are so close together it is no wonder i missed them.
