Wheatfield, silver and my wife's robin egg ring, what a weekend! Lionhrt's Best!
Got a phone call from Krazyglue (Pat) Sat. morning. He mentioned something about hitting an older school about 15 min. from me. He had seen this place on his way home from work last week, we're guessing maybe from the 20's. Anyways they came over to my place and we finished watching the Cubs win another game , then hit the school. The grounds really looked promising (Wish I had some pics) as the school was abandon. Actually it looks kinda eerie. The diggin was easy as there is still quite a bit of moisture in the ground. We hunted Sat. afternoon for like an hour and a half and I had my best day. My first multiple silver day!!! Finally And we got out again this afternoon for acouple of hours
I pulled this on the first signal Sat..... thanks to Krazyglue for cleanin her up for me, it was real ugly! I need to get me one of those Dremel things!!!!
I then dug an iffy quarter signal and pulled this foreign coin, 1st one for me also.. Asian maybe?? Any info would be great!!
I dug silvers a few minutes later....
and then the wheats started to pour in....
and some other keepers, at least for me, I keep it all!!!
In all it was my day, and for sure made my weekend!!! Thanks Krazyglue for taking me to the spot, as always it was great to get out with you guys again.
Looking forward to this season for sure.
Thanks for looking.
