Haven't posted much because I haven't been out much. My uncle is coming up from Texas on the 29th so maybe I'll have some posts around the 4th. Anyway......Found this in change a couple weeks ago. Have tried other forums....CoinFacts, PCGS, Breens, etc. Cannot find one listed or even heard of. PCGS, has none listed and the "Customer Service" people were absolutely NO help! It's definitely a D over D. Not an "S". In some of the pics you can see it good if you expand them. What do you think? I'm looking for an EXPERT that I can either talk or send it to. Anyone know anyone? I'll try to take some better ones but I think you can see it pretty good. Hogge

WOW....Never mind! A guy on "Coinpeople.com" directed me to ...."Coppercoins.com". Found it!!!!!! Along with the variety. 1946-D..D/D (Northeast)..1MM-004. Boy what a cool site that is. Value, in this shape, about $5. Wonder why it's not listed? Thought I found a FORTUNE!!! :laughing9: :tongue3: :headbang: :hello2:

I was going to say it can't be. Then I took a look at the motto and saw doubling above the existing motto. Good Find, and Great Eye!

Good Eye!
I love coin errors, and wheats seem to have more than their share.
I pulled about half a roll of minor errors from 18 rolls of wheats.
I check every coin I get, most errors are only obvious with a loupe,
but I still give a quick look and know some of the coins to check more carefully.
Best finds to ya
