I've noticed nothing but new members posting on this part of the forum. I'm not complaining so don't take me wrong. But where has everyone been?

Another issue is one of Disclosure.

Like fishing. If you have a really good spot and keep advertising your catch, very soon you will have company.
But that part has already been mentioned.

There's more...... It's about personal safety.

Even tho we all use pseudonyms (fake names), our locale and address can be tracked down without much effort.
The many pics of finds accumulate and may attract unwanted attention.

So just like radiation, after so much exposure you are dead.

I think therefore that some of the old timers are more active than ever, pulling in huge hauls of Ag, without blowing a trumpet about the whole thing. They have found the friends that they want, the methods they want, and do not need further attention drawn to themselves.
