Is a Whited Beach hunter ID Very efficient in locating gold nuggets. I am planning a trip to Dahlonega Ga. soon and plan to do some detecting...Thanks..Dan

First of all Welcome to T-Net. When posting you can choose 'Post New Poll' which does what you have above a question and some choices you can choose from. In your case you should have picked 'New Topic' which does not have a poll question at the top.

As for your question I don't own a Beach Hunter ID or a specific gold detector but I would say it would work on larger nuggets but not small ones. Instead of using the Beach Hunter ID you should see if any local Dahlonega area metal detector shops rent out machines and get one that specializes in finding Gold.

I'm sure members that are much more familiar with your detector and detecting gold nuggets will be able to give you better answers.
