i sure do....i have owned several of them......anybody know what we are talking about?

they are Harley Davidson Motorcycles....knuckleheads were made from 1936-1947
and the sidevalve 45's (your avatar) way longer than that

Wow! Nice old Gibson. Looks like someone has it nice and broken in for you. My uncle is a preacher and said someone in his church has a Gibson from the 30s (I'm pretty sure) and found out it was worth over $20,000.00 . Old musical instruments are priceless in my book. I hated to see the who tear nice instruments up.

Hello Larson1951,
I doubt many people know what one looks like so here's a picture of one. My bike is a great source of pride for me since I built the bike from pieces I collected over a five year period of time. It has just under 10,000 miles on it now. I'm currently building a 1947 Harley Davidson UL from scratch. Sorry for getting off the subject.....

Thanks for looking,
Sidevalve45

What's up old friend!! Glad to see you are back. Did you see Trev's pic? He would probably be a person you could talk to for hours. He is a monster! I really don't think I could out run him either. I would have to play possum! And I have competed in bench contest!

image-17001853.jpg

No big contest, but still came in 1st for the 165 weight class. Never placed lower in 10 competitions. I have only seen a hand full of people with the striation and definition that Trev has. And he is flexible enough to compete in MMA. Wow!! You've got to hand it to him Brett. He's the man!! You will be after a few years, I'm sure. You have the heart for it!!

Looks like you do a little trapping in the fall and winter. I did for several years when I lived in Iowa.

very very beautiful
i love the good honest play wear it gives it so much character

for those who want to know the banner is that ribbon just below the "Gibson"logo
it says: "Only a Gibson is good enough"

i like it and i like that cutaway Martin that white county just bought
