a man fights his way through WWII with a sword an a bow.

an honest to god hero imo., and you all go off on a tangent...

Yes I watched it, perhaps you shouldnt have titled thread "Who Needs Firarms". I saw it as implying we dont need firearms look what he did with just a sword and bow...... Remember this is the 2nd Amendment Forum....

I read it as well. The premise was no one needs guns. Doesn't change my opinion...

To put some light on it.Me thinks that it helped out quite a bit that just about every man around him was armed to the teeth with pistols, rifles, machine guns, grenades

Yes, there are always exceptions to just about everything...

Again, as long as the bad people are still carrying firearms and doing bad things with them, it would be silly for me to not be armed.

The premise of the threadis," who needs a gun".....I would like to answer from another view....No-one NEEDS a gun, but everyone is given the right under our Constitution to own and bear arms for what ever reason they seem fit.....people afraid, or untrained in the operation of, and the proper use of a firearm, does not need a gun....but still has the right. If you decide to exercise the right given you, please be competent in the use, safety of, and be competent in the use....if not, I will guanentee that you will be the one hurt with your own firearm.....well pissed off both sides now, and will still stick to "my Guns"....Gary

Last time I took my sword to the movies they denied me entrance. :)

I guess a small sword could be hidden, but hard to use against someone more than arms length away,

Maybe this will help illustrate my point, and answers that question, "Who needs firearms?"

Good for him, shame he didn't put more shots in them, if they get liberal judges they will probably give them a slap on the wrists instead of what they deserve.....

that old man was dangerous, target fixation...
he never showed the least concern for the changing demographic of down range.

perfect example of how not to shoot in public.

Seems like it worked out pretty well-

Only people suffering from lead poisoning were the bad guys...

That is why only the thugs were wounded, he was doing it all wrong.....:banghead:

I will take his response over people cowering too afraid to act.

Who is to say thugs wouldn't have shot someone or several before they left...
