Why Wheat Pennies?

WHeats selkl for 3 cents for plain ones, versus 1.6 cents for copper memorials. And older ones go for much much more. But ALL wheats sell for at least 3 cents. And they are at least 53 years old. :-)

Wheat has more nutritional value than copper.

And they are also old and old coins are cool coins.

i look for wheats because unless you get a solid 2011 or 2012 box.. you always can find something unlike some skunky half boxes of double skunky quarter boxes

I do pennies whenever halves have been particulary bad. Kind of like a confidence booster. In this hobby you need those pick me ups. Filling the blue book penny holes is cool too.
