That's great! Make sure the extension cable's volume control is at it's maximum. Then use the volume control on the headphones for adjustment. I bought another set. I also bought the 2 year replacement warranty for $10.00 That's still cheap for a nice set of wireless phones.

Thank you again!
I have the volume on the cable all the way up.

I get great tones from them! Nearly as clear as my Pro-golds!

Have a Great Day!

I've had my set for almost 3 years and they are still going strong. As mentioned, be sure to buy the warranty as the system is not really very strudy looking. I heard before that the problem was guys breaking off the dongle on the transmitter. I've always taken care with it and haven't had any problems.

Even if you had to buy a set every year it would be worth it. I hate cords!

Loving mine on my Quattro!

So far I've hunted over 5 hours straight, and the batteries were still doing just fine!

Thanks again!

Ok,
Update. I hunted for over 9 hours on Friday. Headphones worked perfectly, and were still going strong on their own power when my personal power ran out! found plenty of silver, and the tones were perfect!

Thanks again khouse!

Good Luck,
Mark

Thats a pretty good mod. I enjoy seeing people who are not affraid to improve
existing materials. Before I saw this post I'd had much the same idea for
the same product but had some issues with the products reviews and local
availablity.
For anyone who's interested this link will take ya over to some of my thoughts
on the item mod'd here as well as what I'm doing for wireless detecting.
