Wisconsin Diamonds?

So I have heard stories and have seen in books where people have found diamonds in Wisconsin. What are my chances of finding one there? I'm not looking for anything to make me rich I'd just like a native diamond in the collection. I was thinking of trying nugget lake near plum city there is some gold there and was just going to see if I could find them in the pan. What do you guys think I have no clue if people still find them or if the ones found were just a fluke.

Most diamonds found in Wisconsin were probably brought down from Canada due to glaciers expanding and then receding. Therefore you do have a chance of finding one, but they are remote.
