Watercolor & I planned to hit the woods this morning, but it was raining, so we waited until after lunch. It was a great day! For me, it was a lot of relics and a few coins. For Mark, well let's just say he is still smokin' on fire !!! :o

I got an old Nylotis compact with two peacocks engraved on the cover, a real cool patent plate, some kind of heavy corner bracket or decoration, one and one half spoons, one of those ubiquitous 1919 buffs, a 1925 wheat, and a 1920 S Merc that I think is just gorgeous.

Here are my finds. Just wait 'til you see his post!! :o

Neil, those relics are absolutely awesome!!. . . especially the compact and the patent plate
I would have overjoyed with any one of those recoveries today

I'm really glad that you found your favorite kind of silver as well

(BTW, thanks for the photo!)

Take care,
Mark

Great finds Neil. That impact is really cool. Can't wait to see Marks finds.

Nice set of finds, especially that silver. Let me guess.....Watercolor got a seated?

Looks like you guys have found a nice old spot, by the Patent date '76- I'm guessing that's not 1976.
Nice Merc too!

I'd say that was a good hunt.

I really like that compact and patent plate
