Taught school, but never took a sick day to be sick. We called them "mental health days" and they happened on a sunlit golf course. MD? Yeah, I did that too...

when i worked at a chemical plant that made copper oxide. I would call in sick . read them their warning label back to them nausea dearie chills headache
