While beach hunting yesterday, a friendly glass hunter told me about a partial wreck
pushed onto the rocks nearby by last weeks gale,
went over to take a look, was still mostly underwater, but I went into the water & retrieved a 6 foot section of timber.
was able to pull several pieces of copper & brass hardware, lots more visible.
will come out as the wood dries & shrinks.
Hope it stays where it is till novembers new moon tides.
it may be fully accesible then. HH To All! Herbie

you could always try to anchor it into place to keep it from being swept away ?

Cool!! go for it....need any help? lol....looks like you found another use for your bath tub.....don't forget to soak......fyi, I found an old cast iron grill that was covered with an inch of encrustation in the ocean....took a week to carefully remove the encrustation to find it was only a ship mate grill. left it in a bag and three months later it was almost totally disinigrated. If it came from the ocean, soak it in distilled water and change water frequently to remove the salt.....sorry... you already new that!!! :notworthy:
