WV 1800's bottle collection - fresh dug + cw relics
Hey everyone. I have failed to post recently and I have a few things to show. First and newest is the bottle collection which is from a circa 1850 cabin site in West Virginia. I have only dated a few and they range in the late 1800's? If there are any experts out there please correct me. I am not a bottle collector - I will probably sell them all or just keep a few (PM if interested). Check out the "Colegate & Co New York" bottle and the "Lubin Paris" perfume bottle. The other spoons, porcelin mason jar lids, etc were found there too (they have writing too - will post if interesrted). The other civil war relics were found with my crew in beautiful NC. In that lot are some cannon call frags, 2 bullets (check them out and confirm the id), a lead sabot to a 6lb ball, a square nail in wood from the old bridge, and a bunch of canister (farr left "as dug" until cleaned (actual size) on the right. Check it out. - Adam
