XP Deus Update Problems

Good day folks,

Trying to update my Deus....currently running version 4.0.

I follow the instructions to the letter and when I get to the point where I select the firmware version from the drop down it's completely blank. I don't have the option to select any versions.

I've done a pile of searching and can't come up with anyone having the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated!

I should also mention I have disabled windows firewall etc, uninstalled and reinstalled the update software multiple times, rebooting my computer in between, etc etc.

I tried to do the update on an alternate computer as well with no luck. Same problem.

I did...that’s the problem, there is nothing there. Completely blank.

Very frustrating.

I know it is out of order, but did you plug the remote into the computer?

did you click on the blank box? I think I remember seeing that and wondering but once I clicked on it the drop down appeared. keep at it.

Thanks for the reply. I did click in the blank box and nothing. The drop down arrow is there on the side but when I click it the box that drops down is empty as well. I’ve tried selecting it regardless and hitting “start” but nothing happens.
