got out the last couple of days to a 1805 red brick house that my buddy got us in to. Large yard. Found wheaties and 3 IH's one of which was an 1865 and a 1864 2 cent piece as well as these relics. i had trouble at first with TID's not the same as my LF 11" coil that threw me for a while until I remembered that after installing V5.1 i didn't turn off ID Norm !!! I also was disappointed that I couldn't use 4Khz due to mucho chatter. I really wanted to try 4K for deep silver and boost mode some time. So I had to go to my usual 12K which worked fine. It was stable enough for me to be able to use TX3 which I usually can't use with the 11" coil. I used Andre's pencils to clean the 2 cent piece.

no matter what frequency you are using the TID's are showing up as if you were in 18khz. that works for some and not for others.

So ID NORM works on the x35?
I like running ID NORM and would stay with the LF coil if the x35 doesn't work with it that is why I asked.

ID Norm sure did work with the X35 coil, much to my frustration. i think it did it to 18k but now i'm not sure but it screwed me up for a while.
