Got out for a hunt yesterday with Deer season open it's hard to MD I found four buttons and three bullets. One four hole button looks to good to have been buried very long it has a crown on the front with the words E. Gale Exeter on the back firmin & sons london. I found these close to old slave Quarters

Nice finds. Be careful out there. Some folks are just itching to pull the trigger.

The button with the stripes looks fairly old, possibly 1790-1800. I'm not real sure about those four hole buttons, but I believe they are pre-1900 and maybe as old as 1870. Here is a similar one I found recently that I thought was pretty cool.
