Wasn't technically found today- in fact, several years ago, but I just found them last night for the first time in 10-12 years....
Anyway- In the late 90's I did some detecting in Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia- several areas of conflict between the Turks and Romans, and found quite a few copper blobs. Back then, I wasn't scared to put a dremel brush to'em to see what they were- I recall identifying a few, but certainly don't remember now... If you recognize one or more tell me what they are! I do recall none were worth much though... Was certainly a fun place to hunt, well, except for the land mines...
PEACE

There are some nice ones! From what i see you have some late (AD 250-350) Follies, the bigger scrappie could been an As, the big one on the right probably a Sestercius. A couple close ups would help a lot for the experts! I bet they are able to identify all exept the As. :notworthy:

HOLY COW- Crusader!!! That is some crazy awesome ID work!!!

I'm awestruck at the K>N>O>W>L>E>D>G>E -you just dropped.... Dang!

On the coinage- looks like they were all the same general timeframe- the odd century few may have came from near the coast.
Thanks for the id work! You're the man!

Not really but my Dad is. I could have got most of these but it would have taken me twice as long, I did help with the largest as I have one in my 'brought' collection. I have a basic understanding but have stepped back & bowed to Dads greater interest, like with Land-Mag & pottery. That way the team gets a greater benefit.
