Brinks half boxes #135 and #136: skunked

Wow...it's tough to get totally skunked. I canceled my box orders for the next few weeks while I do some traveling. Hopefully I'll find something along the way. Keep on rolling.

Ended the month of July with 30 silver keepers. So, about a silver per day...not bad...I've had worse months. I'm taking a break from boxes for a few weeks. Good luck to everyone.

I'm back. I had a nice break. I went vacationing with the family and made lots of great memories.

Got a nice box and found a cool 1917D Walker.

Brinks half box #137: 1-1917D, 2-bens, 4-64's, and 1-1968

Brinks half box #138: skunk

$11.50 loose halves: skunk

I also bought a couple 10 ozt bars just because the price was so low.

Glad to see you back in the game Zero, that's a nice box! I'm still waiting for an early Walker like that.

Nice box #141 there !

Thanks...I've been getting these nice consistent boxes from Brinks where one has no silver or a small amount and the other box has 10 or so. I look for Enders to try and figure out which box is the good one, but there haven't been too many enders.

Keep on rolling!

Did a bunch of bank hopping and ran into a lot of dumps.

$1350 cwr halves: 3-40%
$237 loose halves: skunk

I was really hoping for better results but this city I'm visiting has some serious coin roll hunters that rewrap their dumps. Oh well...I have a couple boxes waiting at home. Keep on rolling.

I can't understand rerolled dumps..... Machines do it faster. No CRH for me today or the weekend got a club hunt tomorrow. Good Luck and keep searching !

Not all areas have free coin counters. The only bank in this area that has them charges 8 or 9% to dump... even to members.

Within 100 miles of me I have only seen 1 coin counter ( other than coin star ). That CU charges 8 percent for members and 10 percent for non members. Rerolling is my only option. At 3-4 boxes a week its very time consuming. But, I love CRH'ing
If you ask my wife she might say it is an obsession.

I understand. I have done rerolling in the past. You gotta keep the silver flowing somehow. Now that I have re-re-rolled, I have to re-re-dump somewhere. At least I have consolidated the dumps into bigger stacks that might get sent back to the coin processors. Keep on rolling!

Lucky for me there is one a 1/4 mile away, 2 a mile away and 3 within 5 miles. Rockland Trust, and DCU. There is TD bank too but I don't need it. There is a reroller in Waltham uses BOA in between 2 free coin counters, Rockland and DCU. I've run into 2 of his dumps.

I've been on a steady silver decline ever since my double dream box, but the truth is every silver coin is just gravy from here on out. It's been a great year so far and we have three more months to go.

September silver keeper total: 38

Keep on rolling!
