The 1970 Bermuda is interesting (not silver) and has a low mintage of 1,000,000.

Not as good as I had hoped. Hit 12 banks and got nice size cwr dumps $20, $40, $80, $120. None of them were $500 or $800. So, I was pretty hopeful of scoring a solid roll of silver, but only the $80 stash contained the two silvers and the Bermuda. Something is better than the skunks of late.

Road trip: went to 10 banks in an area I have not hunted before. Total skunk. Came back with 1 half dollar, a 1994. Well, a bit dissappointing but I did dump last weeks load while I was out and ordered an extra box for next week.

Brink's halves box #25: skunk and a couple of 2010's.

$180 cwr halves: 2-40%

When they offered me the $180 in cwr halves I was excited but when I saw them I was disappointed because they looked just like a bunch of CWR's I had dropped off last week at a different bank. Well, the second and fifth roll each had a 40%. So, it pays to buy them anyway. It was nice to find some silver however meager it was.

Garda box #35: 4-40%

Broke another garda skunk streak (1-40% in box #16). So, of the 35 Garda half boxes I have only found 5-40%, but obviously the coin processing machine is not culling silver. So, there is new hope for this source of halves.

I guess I was hoping for a trend to develop leading to a dream box, but I guess I will just keep dreaming.

$6.50 loose halves: skunk

Did a small cwr run in the Houston area but came up empty. I only went to about 10 banks and found a dump and some loose clad. Just not my lucky day.

Thanks twitch. You are very encouraging. I have dialed back my effort to 1-2 boxes a week. So, I can't expect much.

Garda half box #39: skunk

My son did some metal detecting in the yard and found a 1959 dime. So, .07 ozt of silver this week.

I was happy to break another skunk streak (thanks fishon for the kind words).

Road trip: On my way to a work related activity, I stopped at some banks along the way. Picking up some loose halves (no silver), dropped off a $500 box, and then I hit a bank with $100 cwr. Found 4-40% mixed throughout. I was feeling good and considered this hunt a success. Then I hit my second to last bank. She had $50 in cwr. The teller put them on the counter and then she started opening one of the rolls. I thought she was going to recount them. She dumps a solid roll out on the counter. I was dumbstruck. She said something and I imagined she said "I'm just going to keep these for myself". She actually said, "Are these what you are looking for?". I broke the awkward silence with my usual line, "I'm looking for all the dates and mints. It's project I'm working on with my kids." I casually took the loot and ran.

Final road trip totals:
Out of $427.50 in cwr and loose halves: 31-40%, 4-90%

This is my second biggest haul: over 6ozt of silver. It was awesome.
