Back from some vacationing, I strolled over to my main bank as I was walking the dog, to ask them to start ordering a box a week for me. They already had one waiting for me! Good thing I had a backpack but that was a heavy walk home......

A nice box! It had a BEN (Franklin), then a CHRISTOPHER WALKEN (Liberty), and then another BEN! My first found Walker; now I have the complete set of 20th century designs so I can just stop CRHing, right? :laughing7:

Plus a bunch of NIFCs that I suppose I'll just try to accumulate until I have a big batch to sell on eBay.

There was one very odd 1971 that had only a tiny bit of reeding on one side, but mostly flat and very shiny on the edge. It's a sharp edge, looking more like it was ground by a machine in one setting than gradually being worn like a casino half. The picture shows it pretty well (but ignore the sides where it gets out of focus and looks wider then it really is).

Any idea what this could be? Mmmaybe a magician's coin?

Nice finds! Still waiting to meet Ben myself.

Cool finds!!!! WTG!!!!

Sweet finds! Love the older style halves. So for your 20th century set, do you already have the barber half?
