Picked up a total of $929 in half dollars today on my lunch break, all from one bank and as follows: one box + $400 in MWR + $29 in loose halves sealed in an envelope.
I go up to the teller who I talked to earlier over the phone about the halves, and she gets the box and MWR. She comes back and I pay and say thanks, and when I'm about to turn to leave she says, "Oh wait, I have some loose halves! You want them too?"... Of course I do, but I don't have the bankroll on me...
So I go, "How about I trade you three of these rolls for the envelope?", and she obliges and gives me a dollar back. The $400 in MWR of halves originally being $430.
The teller whips the envelope out of her drawer and I instantly know this was the right decision. As she's handling it all I hear is CLINK! CLINK! CLINK! CLINK! I have to jet to make it back to work before my lunch hour is over, so I open the envelope in the car and just peek inside. I see nothing but 40%ers!
I get home after work and immediately dump out the envelope, 46 40%ers out of 58 total coins!!!

1966 x 6
1967 x 21
1968D x 9
1969D x 8
The pile that isn't stacked in the above pictures is the non-silver clad. Not much at that in the envelope!
The box was a skunk, but the $400 in MWR gave up one 40%er: 1969D!
Altogether, 47 40%ers today! Feels good, man!
