Picked up a box of halves yesterday, it gave up two 40%ers:

1968D
1969D

After a mini six-box skunk streak, yesterday I picked up a box of halves that gave up two 40%ers:

1965
1966

Picked up a box of halves today on my lunch break, it gave up three keepers:

1952 Ben
1969D x 2

Box of halves over the weekend gave up one 40%er: 1969D.

For whatever reason, a bunch of my orders fell through. Managed to pick up just a couple of boxes of halves this week, found one 40%er: 1968D.

(3) 40's out of the last 8 boxes :(

Picked up two boxes of halves + one box of dimes over the weekend, managed to find just one 40%er: 1969D.

Picked up a box of halves + a box of dimes on Wednesday. Got hit with, like, eight inches of snow yesterday. Didn't go through the boxes until last night, skunked on the dimes.

The box of halves gave up one 40%er: 1968D.

The 40%er was chrome-plated. At first I though it was a 90%er, then I thought it looked too shiny and figured it was just a plated 1970-something half, then pulled it out of the roll and saw that it was a 40%er.

Picked up two boxes of halves + two boxes of dimes this weekend.

One box of halves was a skunk, but the other gave up four 40%ers:

1966
1968D x 3

The two boxes of dimes gave up three Roosies between them:

1950
1953
1964

Picked up a box of halves + a box of dimes yesterday, didn't get around to searching them until this morning.

Dimes gave up one Roosie: 1964.

Halves gave up six keepers, a 90%er and five 40%ers:

1964
1966
1968D x 4

Picked up two more boxes of halves after dumping the coins from earlier. Just finished going through them, they gave up eleven 40%ers between them:

1967 x 2
1968D x 7
1969D x 2

Not too shabby of a weekend. I was skunked all week, so these boxes were certainly welcomed. 8-)

Now I'm going to make some lamb stew and a couple loaves of soda bread for my family's annual Irish Feast. :4leafclover:

Have a good weekend, all!

Finally some improvement for you!! Congrats on some nice boxes.

Congrats! Hopefully they will continue to get better and more consistant.

Thanks guys!

Picked up three boxes + $70 in CWR + $8.50 in loose halves today. One box was a skunk and I was also skunked on the CWR and the loose halves.

But between the other two boxes of halves I found one 90%er and seven 40%ers:

1945 Walker
1966
1967 x 3
1968D x 2
1969D

March certainly is picking up for me. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

8-)

Congrats!!
Looks like the silver is starting to trickle in. Lets hope that march silver starts out like a lamb and ends like a lion for you. Didn't you already cook the lamb.

Great to see things are picking up! I had a box earlier in the week that yielded two 90% and four 40%, so hopefully we've gotten over the skunk hump.

March started off slow, and then there was a week that I hadn't found anything at all. March has typically been my best month, at least for the last few years. I hit some good boxes at the end of February though, so maybe that was why the beginning of March wasn't so hot.

Anyway...

Picked up two more boxes of halves today, one was a skunk but the other gave up four 40%ers:

1967 x 2
1968D x 2

Also eyeballed a silver earring in the parking lot of the bank on my way back to the car. 8-)

It's stamped "925" on the backing and the post, and "925 RJ" on the earring itself.

Here's a peak at everything that I've found so far in March:

march.webp

Only three 90%ers this month; the Kennedy under the earring, the Walker, and the Ben. All the rest are 40%ers.
