Hit an old school that I think was built sometime around 1930-40 Saturday morning.
Hunted it briefly last Friday afternoon and scored a silver Rosie, so I wanted to go back when I had a little more time.
Started early to avoid the heat and stayed for close to 4 hours.
This school has been pounded hard over the years. Not a great day, but did manage to make lots of finds.
The best finds were the 1943P silver war nickel, Brass Roy Rogers Token, and an Alabama Tax token.
Also pulled 6 deep crusty wheats, 2 dollars in clad (mostly dimes and pennies), and some other random items.
Almost found more dimes than pennies today which is unusual. I think the larger coins were cherrypicked a long time ago by other detectorists. HH.
