I went out on the prowl for loot and here's what turned up. I found a black and white casreoul dish thing $2.00. A heavy metal thermos brand cooler $3.00. Finally I bought 31 pieces of bakelite flatwear. It came in various colors and I bundled the similar patterns. I'm thinking this stuff came from the late 50's or early 60's :icon_scratch: Any info on the loot would be great !

Thanks Ace Villa-v

The lazy susan is what I would call a "1950's Atomic era" Shawnee pottery piece from their Kenwood line. Kenwood is a mark incorporated by Shawnee Pottery. The cooler is of the same era, very cool. The bakelite pieces are more than likely early 1940's at the newest. After WWII, new technologies for molded plastics had been developed, products such as Lucite, Fiberglass, Vinyl, and Acrylic. Bakelite became more or less obsolete after the War, so it's production more or less ceased to exist anymore. Nice bunch of vintage finds there Ace. Very cool.
