Just a post to show some of my hunts in November
I took a local MDer out to see if he could pull his first silver from the school that gave me 5 on the previous hunt. It didn't happen , but we did hit 3 sites and had a fun day detecting together.
11/12 Keepers
11/12 All Finds
I hit 3 sites, the pic on the right is from a football field ($16.25) dug in 2 hours. I also hit a state park and and finished up at an old permission where I pulled an IHC (1903).

I went back to the school and pulled a silver ring and then back to the old permission and pulled another IHC (1893)

I decided to hit other places that I've previously hunted. On the previous hints I used the stock 9" x 11" DD coil. This time I used the 5"DD coil and was amazed at all the coins I pulled.

It was a cold day, only 31 degrees when I left the house. Throughout the day there were a few sleet flurries, but I did stay warm and pulled plenty of targets. I kept the 5" DD in use to hunt more previously hunted sites.
