Biggest nugget so far and miners buckle

Found this August in NorCal mother lode at about 6500 elevation. Middle fork Feather River County. Found other cool things. Found nugget at about 3” down with Mine lab GP 3500 using a DD 5”x9” Coil Tech Joey. Target sounded like all the other ferrous trash I dug that day...screaming loud..! I thought, all the gold in California, is in the bank in the middle of Beverly Hills in somebody else's name. I guess the Gatlin Brothers were wrong.

That nugget has some nice character.
The buckle indicates you are detecting in an area which was prospected during the beginning of the gold rush. Methods were limited during that time!!
 

That is an awesome nugget right there and a very cool buckle.....but that nugget!!!
